Sony has revealed the prototype handheld Vaio-player with built in digital video that has a 3.5-inch display with an unbelievably high resolution.
Mobilemag.com says the device will last for 10 hours continuous MPEG-2 video playback. It can also show photographs which have been stored on the built in 20 gigabyte hard disk. Sony revealed the digital video player at the WPC Expo in Japan, the largest technological unveiling of digital equipment in the world.

GemSOC's Media Jukebox MJB-3100 has a 10GB hard drive, a 2.5-inch LCD display, USB 2.0 for file-transfer from a PC, a slot for CompactFlash memory cards, and it will actually play MPEG-4 video files and can hook up to a TV to double as a digital video recorder.
